Return & Refund Policy

At Shop Africa USA, all sales are final. Please read our policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. No Returns

We do not accept returns on any products sold through Shop Africa USA. Once an order has been placed and processed, it cannot be returned for a refund, exchange, or cancellation.

2. No Refunds

We do not issue refunds for any orders, including but not limited to:

Change of mind
Incorrect item ordered by the customer
Delayed deliveries caused by the shipping carrier
Dissatisfaction with taste, texture, preference, or personal expectation
Orders that have already been processed or shipped

Once an order is submitted, it is considered final.

3. Orders in Transit

If an order has already been processed and shipped, it cannot be canceled, changed, or refunded. Once the package has been handed over to the shipping carrier, Shop Africa USA no longer has control over the shipment, transit time, routing, or delivery delays.

We may use expedited shipping options, including 2-Day Priority Shipping, to ensure your order moves as quickly as possible. However, carrier delays or transit issues do not qualify an order for a refund.

4. Perishable and Food Items

Due to the nature of our products, including food, frozen, perishable, and specialty items, all sales are final. For health, safety, and quality-control reasons, these items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances.

5. Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

If you receive an order that is damaged, incorrect, or missing items, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery at contactus@shopafricausa.com .

To review your claim, you must provide:

Your order number
Clear photos of the item received
Clear photos of the packaging and shipping label
A brief description of the issue

Failure to report the issue within 24 hours of delivery may result in your claim being denied.

6. Store Credit Only

In rare cases, and solely at our discretion, Shop Africa USA may choose to issue store credit as a resolution for approved claims involving damaged or incorrect items.

Please note:

Store credit is the maximum remedy available
Store credit is issued at the sole discretion of Shop Africa USA
Store credit cannot be exchanged for cash
Store credit cannot be transferred to another person
Store credit may be subject to an expiration period if permitted by law

7. Policy Acceptance

By purchasing from Shop Africa USA, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Return & Refund Policy in full.

Frozen Product Shipping, Returns, and Refund Policy

At Shop Africa USA, we take great care in packaging and shipping our frozen products to help ensure they arrive in the best possible condition.

Shipping of Frozen Products

All frozen items are packed and shipped with protective packaging designed to maintain product quality during transit. Once an order has been processed and handed over to the shipping carrier, delivery timing is subject to the carrier’s operations and may occasionally be affected by delays outside of our control.

No Returns on Frozen Products

Due to the perishable nature of frozen food items, we do not accept returns on frozen products once they have been shipped or delivered.

Refunds, Replacements, and Store Credit

Because frozen products are perishable, we do not offer refunds simply due to shipping delays once the order has been shipped.

However, if your order arrives in a compromised condition due to transit issues, such as:

fully thawed
leaking
damaged
spoiled
unsafe for consumption

please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

clear photos of the product
clear photos of the packaging
a photo of the shipping label
a brief description of the condition upon arrival

Once reviewed, we may, at our sole discretion, offer one of the following:

No Guarantee for Carrier Delays

While we work hard to process and ship orders promptly, we are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, weather, incorrect addresses provided by the customer, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Delivered Orders

If tracking shows that an order was delivered and the product arrived in acceptable condition, the order is considered fulfilled and is not eligible for a refund or replacement.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders delayed, lost, or misdelivered due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

Right to Deny Claims

We reserve the right to deny claims where:

the issue is reported outside the required timeframe
sufficient proof is not provided
the product appears to have been properly delivered in acceptable condition
the claim is inconsistent with tracking or delivery records

By placing an order with Shop Africa USA, you agree to this policy.

Turnaround

All orders are shipped within 48 hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Order Tracking

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.

Shipping Rates

Shipping is free on all products orders above $150

Back Orders

If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.
